Dr. K.V Raman is professor at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University and associate director of its International Programs initiative. He coordinates a five credit course in international agriculture and rural development at CALS and is also the lead project coordinator of the USAID sponsored Agricultural Education and Innovation Project. He also manages other international projects in agricultural biotechnology, such as the Cornell-in-India program and also a post graduate dual degree program for students from India.
