Ms. Reema Sahni Mediratta is currently heading Innovation-Technology Transfer Office (i-TTO), Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She holds Masters in Life Sciences along with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from National Law University, Bangalore. She is a Patent Agent Trademark Agent and She has been awarded with the international status of RTTP (Registered Technology Transfer Professional) by Alliance of Tech Transfer professional (ATTP). She is an awardee of the Women Scientist-C Scholarship under KIRAN-IPR by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and has been recognized as an Innovation Ambassador by MHRD, Government of India.
Ms. Sahni has a breadth of experience of 14 years, of which, she has dedicated more than 10 years in the domain of Intellectual Property and since is actively involved in formulating Intellectual Property (IP) & Technology Transfer (TT) strategy for the client’s inventions and advising many SME'S, Startups and Individuals on securing, protecting, enforcing IP rights and helping them in commercialization of their technologies. Her journey is featured under success stories from Women Scientists Scheme (WOS-C) Women in Science & Engineering WISE-KIRAN IPR, in a book published by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. She has recently received the scholarship under the Danida Fellowship Centre Scholarship Programme, Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the course “Fostering Innovation and Commercialization of Intellectual Property”.
