Ms. Pushpa Vijayaraghavan

Pushpa Vijayaraghavan leads the Healthcare Practise and co-leads the Innovation advisory practice at Sathguru Management Consultants. She is also an internal lead on technology valuation and post license monitoring.

Pushpa has led several engagements supporting Sathguru Management Consultants’s partner network of global academic institutions in valuing life sciences technologies and engaging in royalty audits on a periodic basis.  She has handled a range of technologies including human and veterinary vaccine strains, drug delivery platforms, new chemical and biological drugs, repurposed and reformulated drugs that can go through the 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway in US, medical devices and point of care diagnostics.

Pushpa has been a lead resource for Sathguru’s effort in advising the Department of Biotechnology in impending effort on strengthening the technology transfer capacity in the country for life sciences. She has been the lead advisor for several translational research focused institutions for their technology management and enhancing their innovation ecosystems.

Pushpa serves as an alumni advisor to the India Business Conference at the University of Michigan and is a mentor on the MassConnect where she advises biotech ventures identified for mentorship. She is also an appointee to the Governance Board of the Medicines Patent Pool, a UN affiliated body that in-licenses drugs from innovators to LMIC manufacturers for wider access.
