Dr. Shree Divyya

Shree Divyya is part of the Healhcare Practice at Sathguru Management Consultants (SMC). Divyya has over a decade of experience with small to large companies, clinical and academic research institutions in Intellectual Property Research and Technology Management including identifying white space for R&D, advancing innovations, commercialize technologies and analysing technology and market landscapes. She has developed Intellectual Property and Technology Management Policies for translation research focused institutions. Also developed Incubation, Spin-out and Conflict Management Policies for a clinical institution focused on creating a sustainable ecosystem where startups can thrive and create accelerated value. She managed execution of over 300 collaborations, clinical trials and sponsored research agreements. Divyya also managed several in-licensing and out-licensing transactions including technology and biomaterial access for leading Indian company for manufacturing veterinary vaccines along with IP valuations of healthcare venture to suppor tin M&s and Corporate structuring. Divyya is also involved in managing all activities in technology transfer and shaping research for start-ups funded by BIRAC, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, as SMC is the empanelled technology transfer entity of BIRAC and has also played a key role in creation and operations of the Regional Technology Transfer Office (RTTOs) under the Naional Biopharma Mission, a project co-funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and the World Bank.

Divyya was earlier Manager, Business Development for the BioAsia conference, Consultant to Novogress IP Services and Team Lead and Senior Knowledge Scientist at Dolcera Infomaxx, an IP services firm in India. She has a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, India and holds a post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from NALSAR University of Law, India. Divyya is also a Registered Patent Agent in India. She is a life member of Society for Technology Management (STEM) and a certified Registered Technology Transfer Professionals (RTTPs).
