How to become a member?
To become a STEM member:
- Choose the category of membership based on the criteria noted below
- Fill in the respective membership form
- Invoice for the same will be generated and emailed
- Transfer the membership fee
- On receipt of the membership fee, the receipt, membership letter and certificate will be emailed

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER
Institutions that generate intellectual property and are actively involved in technology transfer and technology management may apply for Institutional STEM membership. There are two types of membership and the registration form can be accessed here.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBER
Individual members engaged in any of the following professions may apply for STEM Individual membership:

- Scientists engaged in publicly financed research or private funded institutions or from non-profit organizations
- Academicians engaged in research
- Research and development professionals in private enterprises
- Intellectual property administrators
- Venture capital professionals engaged in venture incubation and support
- Regulators engaged in technology validations and project approvals
- Teaching, legal, marketing professionals involved in the area of technology management and its profession
- Employees of the company qualifying as an institutional member under category above
The individual members fulfilling any of the above criteria can select from any one of the types of memberships. The membership forms can be accessed here.

STUDENT MEMBER
Students fulfilling the below criteria may apply for STEM Student membership.
- Aspiring students in the field of science, technology and intellectual property management
- The student should have basic understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and desire to engage in the IP management profession in the future.
The students applying for STEM membership must send a hard copy of the proof of status (either a letter from adviser / copy of course enrollment). The student membership form can be found here.
