Dr. Kiran. K. Sharma, is the Principal Scientist, in International Crop Research Institute for the Semi Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Patancheru, Hyderabad, India. During his career, he has made valuable contributions in genetic engineering for improved drought, disease, pest resistance and bio-fortification researches. He is also the CEO of the Agri-Science Park at ICRISAT. Dr. Sharma is the Head at the Platform for Translational Research on Transgenic Crops. He has made valuable contribution in the areas of technology transfer and IP through his vast knowledge and expertise.
